The countdown has begun, and only four weeks remain!
WW is July 9th–12th, and if you’ve been on the fence about the biggest event of the summer, fear not. You can wake up on July 9th and decide you’re coming — day‑of attendees are absolutely welcome. Gate is scheduled to be open 9am–7pm daily. If you arrive outside those hours, set up with your camp and check in the next morning.
Ever wish you could set up on Wednesday and be fully ready for everything the event offers? With our new volunteer system, five hours of volunteering earns you Wednesday early entry. We have opportunities for all, but right now Gate needs heroes:
- Friday Gate: zero volunteers
- Weekend Gate: only 14 of 51 shifts filled
Please consider donating your time to Gate or one of the other core needs that keep WW running smoothly.
Health & Safety Reminder:
As the weather warms, we repeat our annual advice — part of WW prep is getting used to summer heat. Each area will manage its own breaks and pacing, but you are in charge of you. Hydrate, rest, and know your limits.
Since we have the artisans and artisan‑appreciators gathered here, allow us to point you toward the giant list of classes at WW. Many of you are teaching — thank you — and we encourage everyone to browse the online schedule to discover something new or revisit an old favorite.
Don’t forget the Authentic Encampment, which is hosting classes as well as open camp time.
