Hello from WW Master of Hounds here!
When you troll in for gate, please ask for a “wrist band” for your hound. This can be attached to their collars, harness, or any visible place. This is for everyone to know your hound belongs on site.
There will be a doggy decompression area in Canton Hall. It will be down the hallway towards the kitchen and classes. It will be signed. Please keep an eye on your pets for stress and heat. They get hot like we do. Also watch their paws for damage/burn. Roads and cement are hot on bare feet.
Please do not leave your hound unattended if at all possible because of the heat. Also, please make sure your hound is leashed or contained at all times.
Stay hydrated and stay cool, my friends.
Questions, concerns or comments–don’t be afraid to contact me via email (torn.paradox at gmail.com), FB messenger (Amy Heathcoat), in person, through strawboss, crow, etc. I’m here to help.

Concerning The Note Above From The Kingdom Seneschal
Anyone bringing a service animal to Warriors and Warlords, or any SCA event, will not be required to register, mark, certify, or provide advance notice that they are bringing their service animal. There is also no legal requirement for a service dog to wear a vest, patch, tag, or other identifying equipment. These policies stem from both the SCA itself and US federal law.
No wristbands will be requested of or suggested for service animals.
This message is just to make the policy clear, and I believe the Event Stewards and the Master of Hounds are doing a fantastic job.
If anyone has any questions, please reach out to the Event Stewards, Master of Hounds, or the Kingdom Seneschal.
Have a great event for those who can make it.
Yours in Service,
Mikkel Daansson

If You Have Scrolls For Courts At WW
If you have scrolls for courts at WW, please drop them by the beadmaking area in Canton Hall as soon as you arrive on site. There will be a sign indicating where and a tote to put them in, along with some empty scroll cases in case you need one for your scroll. There will be various courts starting late Friday and we will need to get the scrolls signed before then, if at all possible.
